Meet your guide and immerse yourself in a trip through history and art of the Italian Renaissance: your tour will start with a walk along the majestic via Garibaldi, that dates back to 1550 and is sided with residential noble palaces enriched with frescoed halls, gardens and galleries and magnificent art collections. Via Garibaldi is considered an open air museum, a masterpiece unique in itself, that shows the power of Genoa during Renaissance and the architectural expertise of its artists. Since 2006 it is part of the Unesco World Heritage Sites. Visit Palazzo Rosso, which hosts the exquisite art collection of the family Brignole –Sale. Here are collected the paintings of some of the 17th and 18th century most important Genoese painters and not only: De Ferrari, Piola, Veronese, Guercino, Durer, Van Dyck and Rubens, to name a few…The itinerary continues with the visit of Palazzo Bianco, considered one of the most important galleries in Italy, with paintings of Cambiaso, Strozzi, Fiasella and of various Spanish and Flemish artists. The last stop will be at Palazzo Tursi, elegant palace that is now the seat of the municipal hall. Another short walk through the narrow streets of Genoa and you will reach Imperiale Palace, where a tasting of the different specialties of the ligurian cuisine has been organized for your enjoyment.
