Board your comfortable minivan and enjoy the ride along the winding and scenic highway that will take you to Recco and then to the small village of San Rocco, situated in a stunning position overhanging the open sea and the Gulf of Paradise. From here your naturalistic guide will lead you through the natural beauties of the promontory, until you reach the tiny village of Porto Pidocchio and then Punta Chiappa, the farthest tip of Portofino Promontory. Enjoy the fresh breeze coming from the sea and be amazed by the mighty nature surrounding you. From Punta Chiappa you will reach Camogli by boat, a fishermen’s village with medieval origins, that has become over the years a trendy vacation destination. Also known as the “city of a thousand white sails”, Camogli was in the past home to hundreds of ship’s captains and sailors: the story says that the houses and buildings of Camogli were painted in different bright colors because this helped the sailors to find their way back home. Take a stroll on the promenade, walk by the marina and reach the castle and the parish, that are sitting on a small island, now connected to the mainland thanks to a square. Free time before boarding the minivan and return to your hotel. N.B. Portofino will not be visited during this excursion.
